“I very much enjoy meeting and networking with similar minded investors from around the world who share the same
opinions. The value community is a small but determined community. I learn a lot by meeting
them and exchanging opinions and ideas with them.”

Orbis International

"On behalf of the entire ORBIS team, I want to thank all the attendees of the 2007 Value Investor Conference in Los Angeles for raising $8,500 in much needed funds for ORBIS. We were thrilled to learn that 100% of the proceeds from the auctioning of the FlightSafety simulator rides and sale of A.L. Ueltschi’s book is being directed to ORBIS to carry out our sight saving mission via the Flying Eye Hospital and various land-based projects. This generous amount will go a long way toward making a real difference in the lives of people in some of the most under served regions of our world.

I invite you all to visit the ORBIS website www.orbis.org for regular updates on our work.  The Flying Eye Hospital occasionally visits the U.S. for maintenance and tours—I would be happy to keep you posted on tour opportunities as they arise.

Thank you again, your efforts helped bring much needed attention to the staggering problem of avoidable blindness in the world and ORBIS’s work to remedy the situation.”
